Goals Are What We Want On A Cold Tuesday Night

It’s another busy mid-week in the world of football and with a smattering of Championship, League One and Two fixtures, there are even some EFL Trophy fourth round clashes to look forward to, if that’s what floats your boat.

The Premier League does take centre-stage tonight, however, as although Liverpool have the significant advantage at the top of the first tier table, the battle to avoid the drop is as frantic as ever and with only 13 points separating ninth place from dead last, this evening’s round of games could prove decisive on that front as we look to the future and there will certainly be those who up the ante by laying a bet or two and there are some Mighty Tips for those who feel that both teams will score in their preferred fixture.

Mid-January is rarely known for comfortable and warm evening’s, so fans of all colours will be hoping to see plenty of goals and plenty of entertaining action, simply to keep them warm and looking at the rundown of games to choose from, there should certainly be goals.

And for those curious as to why the kick off times for tonight’s Premiership games are 7.30pm, it appears, despite the normal times being 7.45pm or 8pm (live on Sky usually the latter) the Premiership have decided, following on from the midweek round of Amazon fixtures back in December, that all games will continue to be either 7.30pm or 8.15pm going forwards.

Be interesting how many fans don’t realise this, as it hasn’t been well publicised, and will still turn up for the more usual 7.45pm kick off time!?
