Few players have settled into life at Goodison Park as of late that Lucas Digne. The 25-year-old moved from Barcelona over the summer, and whilst his talent was clear for all to see, moving from such a big club always comes with a sense of risk.

Nonetheless, he’s arguably been one of the most impressive of our summer signings, and he’s naturally becoming quite the fan favourite as a result.

It seems as though there’s even more to love about the Frenchman than just his quality on the field, at least judging by his latest Instagram post.

Digne, like a few other Everton men like Andre Gomes, took part in a community day yesterday, and he’s taken to Instagram to detail just how much he loved being involved. He described it as an ‘amazing afternoon’.

It’s great to see players like Digne getting involved in the community. He may have only moved over the summer, but the Frenchman is settling into life at the club well – and he’s clearly loving it as much as we are.

We’re hoping that he’ll continue to go from strength to strength. Everything about him has impressed us so far.
