Celtic is likely to have a busy transfer window next season. Ange Postecoglou has revealed that he will not be taking any day off over the winter break. Hence, it implies that the manager will have a busy schedule within the coming weeks. He is clear about his desire to strengthen his squad to retain the Scotland Premiership Cup next season.

As a result, Celtic has been linked with various new signings in recent weeks and months. Some players likely to sign are classified as confirmed targets, while others fit the rumor category. Some of these players include;

Left Back- Mohanad Jeahze

Ange Postecoglou aims to boost their defensive options the next transfer season and is in the chase to the Iraqi left-back Mohanad Jeahze. Celtic are in the run for Hammarby left-back Mohanad Jeahze, which will approximately cost 2 million pounds.

The Hoops boss needs a new left-back before the next window transfer opens. Mohanad Jeahze , the highly rated defender if fit for the role. Lech Poznan from the Polish side already submitted their deal for the Iraqi star, which was rejected. Hammarby are at the top of their local league, where they landed Mohanad Jeahze from Mjallby in 2020.

Centre Forward- Antoine Semenyo

Celtic has shown an interest in signing fast attacking players in the next season window transfer according to Vwin sports platform. The Hoops have been scouting for the highly-rated 22-year-old Bristol City forward Antoine Semenyo. Antoine Semenyo has displayed an impressive run of form, and he could make a move as the current campaign concludes. Celtic interest in Semenyo is because the striker has registered six goals and seven assists in his last 14 matches. As a result, Celtic will score more goals.

Midfielder- Christopher Scott

Celtic are in the run to sign the Ghanian youngster from Bayern Munchen. Last summer, the Hoops were very slow off the mark in the transfer market. The 19-year-old is set to leave Bayern at the end of the season because June’s current deal is expiring.

Scott has only made two appearances for the German giants to date. When the midfielder joins Celtic next season, it could be a perfect match for all concerned since the attacking midfielder is not seen as an essential player at Bayern. The attacking midfielder could come into the team under Postecoglou, and with time he matures, he will possibly be a key figure in the squad. Christopher Scott is someone who can be a long-term capture for the Hoops and can make a lot of impact on the team.

Conclusion

The signing of new players in Celtic will strengthen the squad, hence retaining and winning more football cups. Ange Postecoglou needs to sign critical players in the new season window transfer. Moreover, the Hoops with the right players are likely to perform better.
