KW: bookmakers review

Manchester United and Manchester City have always been fierce rivals. They derive from the same city, Manchester, and have fans split in the middle on who to support. It is an ongoing feud, with many insults thrown during matchday when they 2 square off, as the streets of Manchester fill up with football fans, all chanting that their respective team is better. But who will have a better season this year? Will City win the premier league again? Will you big the red top, or will you proudly wear the blue one? This bookmakers review strives to help you find the better team to bet on.

Manchester United

Manchester United, aka the Red Devils, have struggled to find their pace since Sir Alex Ferguson left the team in 2013. They went through various managers, including David Moyes, Ryan Giggs, Louis van Gaal, Jose Mourinho and now ex-player Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. The team has been in turmoil ever since Fergie left, and no number of stars could help the team with a Premier League Cup or a Champions League. The days where Manchester United is the most feared team in British football seem to be officially over, or not? Let us keep an open mind and remember that Manchester United have not won a Premier League since 2002 and a Champions League since 2008.

The player roster is there for sure, as stars like Cristiano Ronaldo, Paul Pogba, Jadon Sancho, Jesse Lingard, Marcus Rashford take centre stage in almost every game. Is the drive to win there? Truth be told, Manchester United have always had the magic, but the team always needed some encouragement. During the tenure of Jose Mourinho, The Chosen one, the team lost game after game, and although the manager got sacked, was it a dressing room attitude that plunged the Red Devils to the bottom of the league? The common trend with Manchester United is lack of consistency, something that Manchester City do not suffer from.

Manchester City

Manchester City is the team that continues to deliver year on year, season on season. Compared to Manchester United, the blues have fewer premier league wins with just 5 and never won a Champions League cup. Yet the team has gone from good to great. Pep Guardiola, who joined in 2016, turned the Etihad into a powerhouse. The Blues have players like Jack Grealish, Raheem Sterling, Kevin de Bruyne, Rodri and more to beef up their game and deliver some of the most outstanding football of our time. And to be honest with you, Manchester City always delivers. Last season they had an impeccable tenure and made it to the very top of the league, snatching the cup from Liverpool’s claim. And this season, Manchester City have been massively performing! This season they have been winning game after game in all the tournaments. Premier League games were City scored 5 goals per game during matches against Norwich City and Arsenal. A follow-up game against Tottenham saw the Blues secure another win, this time 1-0. In the meantime, City also have Champions League matches to tend to and also League Cup matches. Will this be the year that Manchester City finally secured the Champions league? After all, they did lose the final to Chelsea earlier this year.

We would need to wait and see who will have the better season. As we bring you this football analysis, we have to say that it is still early days in the season, and the teams are gearing up to start delivering. Manchester City has played 5 games so far, won 3 of which, they drew one and lost another. In the meantime, the Old Trafford lads have won 4 matches and had one draw and no losses so far. Manchester United currently enjoy the 3rd position, while Manchester City sit at the 5th Position. Will the league table standing change? That is for sure, and come May, we will see who will reign as the better team. Apart from the Premier League, both teams will square off in other leagues, so their stamina and team dedication will be assessed across the board.

Who is the best team? Who knows, all we can say is that any team from Manchester is worth following and supporting. Manchester is the heart of football, and we are living for it!
